Skipton Beer Festival 2017
20th to 22nd April
Ermysted's Grammar School
Over for another year
Beer of the festival
The public vote for Beer of the Festival went to Bridgehouse Rum Porter. Our congratulations to them.
The festival also hosted one of the tasting panels that eventually goes towards selecting Champion Beer of Britain and the winner in our category was Mordue Workie Ticket. It has won the supreme accolade before but still has a long way to go before being crowned again.
Cider/perry of the festival
We had joint winners here Millwhites Rum Cask Cider and Grumpy John's Dry Cider, well done to both.
We collected over £500 at the festival for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Signing off for 2017
We hope all who came enjoyed it. The crew are taking a well earned rest after another good year. There were approx. 20 beers left at the end so still a good range to choose from and the same for the cider and perry, still a selection at the end. Thanks to all who supported us and helped along the way donating prizes, putting up posters or pulling pints.
